We have finished the exterior sanding and fairing of the hull and are working on the skeg. The next step will be to tape the seams and glass the entire hull before we install the skeg. Keep in mind this is in lieu putting fiberglass on a cardboard box for a bird house to fulfill one of the requirements of the composite materials merit badge.
Still have not decided on colors or the name yet. We are learning how to do the stitch and glue process of boat construction in preparation for the 22' Pilot House Surf Scoter.
